Welcome to 101Records

December 2011. Nearly a year since having our new site, there's been some interesting developments, firstly 101 has licenced it's entire catalogue to Sirius XM Radio over in the States. Secondly, we have agreed a distribution deal with Proper Music Distribution so we look forward to working with both these parties in the future.

Bartrum Brookes and Weatherall's New Midsummer's Day has been a runaway success for us and has been one of fRoots special choices for their Playlist chart during 2011 and is currently being offered as part of a whopping 90 cd prize in their competition find out more here

Mark Radcliffe BBC Radio DJ has received some great reviews from Mojo, fRoots and R2 to name a few, he is currently starting his winter tour with Chris Lee from Full House, I hear they are going down very well as you would expect.

Phil Hare has received some great reviews for his recent album Everyone's a Hard Man Now. Phil is currently hibernating and working towards his new album which he wants to start recording in the new year. He has said that this one will be a 'guitar' album so will look forward to working on that.

Full House - I have had a little bird whisper to me that the band are planning to record another CD in the new year. Look forward to another album from the boys from Chester.
